Settings — Team

The Team tab in Settings is where you manage your workspaces, invite teammates, and control member roles.

Workspaces

Every SimpleLogs account has at least one Personal workspace — a private workspace that is only visible to you. You can also create additional shared team workspaces to collaborate with others.

The left column of the Team tab lists all workspaces you belong to. Click any workspace to switch the active context. The right column shows details for the currently selected workspace.

Creating a team workspace

Click Create Team at the top of the left column. Enter a name (2–80 characters) and submit. The new workspace is created and you are automatically redirected to manage it.

info

Team creation is available on all plans, but inviting members requires a Pro or Enterprise subscription. See the Teams section below.

Teams feature

:::tip Premium feature Inviting and managing team members requires a Pro or Enterprise plan. Personal workspaces on the Free and Basic plans have a single-member limit. :::

On a shared team workspace, the right column shows the full team management interface for admins.

Inviting a member

Enter the teammate's email address, select a role (Admin or Member), and click Send Invite. SimpleLogs sends a secure invitation email. The invitation expires after a set period.

Roles:

RoleCapabilities
AdminFull access — can invite, remove, and change roles of other members; can delete the team
MemberRead/write access to logs and timings; cannot manage team membership

Managing sent invitations

The Sent invitations section (collapsible) shows all invitations and their current status:

StatusMeaning
ActiveInvitation email was sent; awaiting acceptance
AcceptedThe invitee accepted and joined the team
DeclinedThe invitee declined the invitation
RevokedAn admin cancelled the invitation before it was used
ExpiredThe invitation was not used before its expiry date

For Active invitations you can:

  • Resend Invite — sends the invitation email again (60-second cooldown between sends)
  • Revoke Invitation — cancels the invitation immediately

Managing members

The Team members section lists every current member with their name, email, and role. Admins can:

  • Change a member's role — use the role dropdown; a confirmation dialog appears before the change is applied
  • Remove a member — removes them from the workspace immediately; they lose access to all data and API keys scoped to this team

Deleting a team

Admins can delete a shared team workspace from the team actions menu (⋮). A team can only be deleted after all other members have been removed. Deleting a team is permanent and also removes all API keys and pending invitations associated with it.

danger

Team deletion is irreversible. All API keys for that team will stop working immediately.
